EXPERIENCE LUXURY: HOW TO BEHAVE CORRECTLY IN A BOUTIQUE/ NICHE PERFUMERY

I, perfume.gio , love fragrances – they are my passion and the key to everything that enriches life.
Anyone who has ever visited our 4D Outfitters boutique in Bregenz on the beautiful Lake Constance knows what I'm talking about. Love is the driving force behind everything we do, but respect is just as important. Without respect, even the greatest passion cannot exist. That's why it's so important to us that our customers share these values.

Our dream customers appreciate this: They don't just come to buy a fragrance, but to get advice, hear stories and be transported to new worlds. For us, that is true luxury - to be treated with respect and love, to listen and to discover the wonderful world of fragrances together.

Here are some recommendations to make your visit to our boutique – or any other boutique – an even more enjoyable experience.

When visiting a luxury boutique or perfumery specializing in niche fragrances, there are some important etiquette rules that will not only enhance your own experience, but also that of other customers and preserve the upscale ambience of the environment.

Luxury means time and advice: in such exclusive environments, it is of great importance to take the time and use the expertise of the specialist staff. Instead of testing fragrances on your own, you should seek advice to experience the full complexity of the scent. If you hold a perfume bottle directly to your nose, you can often only perceive the last notes, where the top notes have already evaporated and only the base notes dominate. Since many perfumeries stock hundreds of fragrances, not all of them are sprayed regularly. This can lead to the fragrances sticking to the spray head and drying out, thus no longer offering what they are actually supposed to. And you certainly don't want to know how deep some customers stick the sprayer into their nose - and we really mean that. True to the motto: "I can't smell anything, so I'll stick it up my nose."

Spray with care: If you do spray yourself, always make sure to spray the fragrance towards the floor to avoid spraying shelves or other objects. Never spray into the top of the bottle as this can distort the fragrance and spoil the experience for the next customer. Often the liquid is very oily and can run down the bottle, making it look unkempt. After use, put the bottle back clean and tidy so that the next visitor has a flawless experience.

Courtesy and consideration: Never take it for granted that you can spray on your own. It is always more polite and respectful to ask the staff if you can test the fragrance and let the professionals guide you. This will ensure that you experience the fragrance in the best possible way while respecting the exclusive environment.

By following these rules of conduct, you will help make your visit to a luxury boutique or perfumery even more pleasant and unforgettable.

By the way: These rules can be applied to many areas of life. With a little consideration and respect, you can avoid stress and enjoy a luxurious life - without much expense.
