The termHellenistoriginally describes a person who has adopted Greek culture, language, and way of life without being Greek themselves. This very idea forms the core of the brand.
FounderJean-David Jacobyfell in love with Greece as a child. Since then, the country's landscapes, myths, and memories have stayed with him. After over twenty years in the international perfume industry, this led to an extraordinary vision:

Sustainability with Meaning
Hellenist pursues a consciously regional approach. Production is concentrated in the Mediterranean region, many components are produced locally, and short supply chains are a priority. Packaging is made from FSC-certified materials, organic printing inks, and fully recyclable components.
Sustainability is not understood here as a marketing term, but as an integral part of the brand philosophy.

We were particularly impressed by the extraordinary scented candles. The handmade ceramic vessels are produced in Portugal and are far too beautiful to be discarded after burning.
