Questions and answers
Syrupy-sweet, honeyed and caramel-like, with the soft depth of dried fruit.
- In 2005, a date seed around 2,000 years old from the fortress of Masada germinated – the palm that grew from it is nicknamed “Methuselah”.
Date oil is practically not produced. Perfumers usually build the note as an accord – from caramel-like building blocks such as ethyl maltol, fruity lactones and honey notes.
