The “DAB” gesture of this penguin, designed by Vittorio Gennari (2020), refers to a pose taken by athletes after an exceptional performance or by footballers after scoring a goal, a gesture of pride that acknowledges a great achievement and is imitated by millions of young people around the globe.

Sixty percent of the world's penguins have disappeared in the last 50 years, but this penguin seems to say, "I am here, and I am a hero." This call to action aims to raise awareness of what is happening to those (besides us) who live on planet Earth. Designed using a low-poly technique, this ceramic penguin is defined by a few lines, while its facets are accentuated by the introduction of precious metal enamel. As essential as possible, it is as if the penguin is fading away. The result is a form that suggests a presence slowly diminishing until it disappears, a representation of time coming to an end. To support animals threatened by climate change, BOSA is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this animal sculpture to the WWF.
