The Owl from the Forest of Lights has dressed up for the festivities: over her finely drawn brown plumage she wears a green waistcoat with golden glitter buttons and holds a little red bell with a sprig of holly in her beak. With big yellow eyes she gazes curiously into the Christmas night – a charming piece for atmospheric evenings.
Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
