This witch is a fairy-tale figure straight out of a picture book: a red headscarf with glitter edging, a green cape, a golden-yellow blouse and a grey apron with red patches. With her mischievous look and a wart on her nose, she is an impressive 14 cm collector's piece – for Hansel and Gretel fans, for Halloween and for the Christmas tree.
Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
