Blue jacket, green scarf, cap on and a quick breather: this boy takes a little rest on his wooden sledge before racing down the hill again. A piece of childhood memory from snowy winter days – lovely for families and anyone who remembers their own sledging adventures.
Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
