Krampus Glutfang is St Nicholas's wild companion and a piece of living Alpine tradition: a glowing red face, yellow eyes, sharp fangs, a black glitter beard and long, sparkling red horns. Wherever Krampus parades roam the villages in early December, he belongs on the tree – a bold collector's piece for lovers of folklore.
Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
