When teddy bear meets nutcracker, the result is the Nutcracker Bear: a golden-brown bear in a blue uniform jacket with golden glitter epaulettes, a black peaked cap and a wide belt with a gold buckle. Cuddly yet on duty – a charming mix for nutcracker collectors and bear lovers.
Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
