Glass Ornament Traditional Nutcracker, 15 cm

The Traditional Nutcracker stands to attention just like his wooden ancestors from the Ore Mountains: a red uniform with red glitter epaulettes, a golden belt, golden boots and a sparkling red crystal on his tall hat. His white beard and hand-painted face give him a dignified expression – at 15 cm a must for every nutcracker collection.

Each piece is made in the Inge Glas workshop in Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany, following the traditional Lauscha glassblowing craft: mouth-blown, silvered inside with sterling silver and then painted by hand. This gives the colours their special depth and unmistakable shine. Inge Glas Christmas ornaments are treasured by families for generations – for collecting, decorating and gifting.
