Oud Blanc, Van Cleef & Arpels

Oud Blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels : Perfumer Anne Flipo shares her secret with us: "To explore the magic of oud in a completely new and unique way, I was inspired by what happens when you burn it. It creates a hot, white, very captivating and intense smoke, full of mystery and opulence. I wanted to recreate the scent of this smoke, which is warm, soft and translucent at the same time."

Surrounded by a gentle date note, she combined this exquisite oud accord with a tender, velvety Turkish rose. Vanilla gives the composition a sweet, creamy facet, while incense with its smoky nuances almost spreads a little chaos and thus further expresses all the multifaceted sides of the oud. The resulting warmth forms a striking contrast to the cool embrace of aldehydic white musk. This brings to life the impression of a cloud of warm, opulent oud smoke.
