Perfume LB - A cœur perdu, D'Orsay

À cœur perdu. LB by D'ORSAY is a fragrance about the moment in between – between glances, between closeness and reserve, between desire and the first step. This Eau de Parfum composition captures precisely that tension that arises before one loses oneself – with an open heart.

The opening is like a smile: fresh, clear, and radiant. Aldehydic iris notes meet bergamot, creating the sensation of freshly laundered sheets drying in the sun. It's this clean, almost innocent moment before emotions intensify. At its heart, orange blossom and neroli unfold – warm, intimate, quietly sensual. The fragrance becomes softer, closer, more personal. Finally, in the base, cashmeran and moss settle like skin on skin: subtly erotic, soothing, and long-lasting.

The perfumer Fanny Bal describes the creation herself as follows:
"À cœur perdu. LB is a fragrance of absolution. It is reminiscent of sheets left to dry in the sun – in a forbidden breeze, mingled with orange blossom. A fragrance that begins with a smile, transforms into love, and finally takes on a physical depth."

À cœur perdu. LB is a contemporary interpretation of the original fragrance that Alfred d'Orsay created in 1830 for Lady Blessington – the love of his life. The initials LB are dedicated to this story and are deliberately revealed here. The fragrance has a protective effect, almost like an emotional cocoon.

Ideal for spring, summer, and early autumn. Especially suitable for daytime, intimate evenings, dates, or situations where closeness should be subtle yet palpable.
