Two colours, one ring – and no need to choose. Green and pink tourmaline sit together on polished yellow gold, like two characters who complement each other perfectly. A ring for everyone who loves colour and would rather not commit to just one.

What is tourmaline?

Tourmaline occurs in more colours than almost any other gemstone – this ring shows two of them at once, green and pink. Its name comes from the Sinhalese “turamali”. And it holds a small surprise of physics: when warmed, it becomes electrically charged; Dutch traders once used it to draw ash out of their meerschaum pipes (“Aschentrekker”). Hardness 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale.
