An opal is never the same twice. Depending on the light and the angle, the opal of the Stellini II ring shows a new face – at times milky and soft, at times with fine flashes of colour. Set in polished rose gold and accompanied by diamonds, it becomes your very own play of light.

What is opal?

Opal is a gemstone with a little secret: it contains water. Its play of colour arises because minute spheres of silica inside diffract the light. With a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, it is more delicate than many other stones – protect it from knocks, heat and chemicals.
