Heliotrope Perfumes
Heliotrope smells powdery, almond-like and vanillic – a classic of soft, nostalgic fragrances. The note is carried mainly by the aroma molecule heliotropin, named after the plant's flowers. Here you will find every perfume with heliotrope in its pyramid.

DISCOVER HELIOTROPE PERFUMESFrequently asked questions
Is there a natural heliotrope oil?
Practically not: an oil from the flowers plays no role in trade. Perfumers therefore recreate the scent – above all with heliotropin, often complemented by vanillin.
Where does heliotrope get its name?
From Greek: helios means “sun”, tropos “turn”. Behind it lies the old belief that the plant turns its flowers towards the sun. In English it is also called “cherry pie” because of its scent.
How long does heliotrope last on the skin?
Heliotropin is considered very tenacious: on a smelling strip it remains noticeable for days. On the skin it carries a fragrance softly and for a long time. The best test is on your own skin: with every bottle of 30 ml or more we include a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance.
