ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Crécy is the new Extrait de Parfum from Parfums de Marly: a rose that has no interest in being sweet. Floral and woody at once, with a strength that never needs to raise its voice.
What does Crécy smell like?
It opens with blackcurrant buds: green, slightly tart and full of tension. Lavender lifts their weight and adds a cool, aromatic clarity. At the heart, iris and rose unfold, powdery and modern rather than romantic. Beneath them, woods, benzoin and Ambrox carry the scent warmly and for a long time on the skin.
When does Crécy work best?
From autumn to spring, subtly dosed during the day and with one extra spray in the evening. A fragrance for people who wear elegance as an attitude, not as a costume.
What makes Crécy special?
Parfums de Marly deliberately places the rose in a masculine frame here and shows how much strength there can be in delicacy. The fragrance is inspired by the fine interlacing ornaments that once adorned the most precious objects at the Château de Marly – you will find the pattern again on the silver cap and the box. The blush-pink bottle with its faceted horse head places Crécy among the house's extraits, alongside Carios, Valero and Eragon.
