DISCOVER VETIVER PERFUMESFrequently asked questions
What does vetiver smell like?
Earthy, woody and smoky, often with green and grapefruit-like facets. It unfolds fully only after a few hours, once the fresh top notes have faded.
Why does vetiver smell different depending on its origin?
Soil and climate shape the oil. Vetiver from Haiti is considered fresher and more citrusy, vetiver from Java smokier and earthier.
Is vetiver only for men’s fragrances?
Vetiver was long regarded as a typically masculine note and is still common there. Today it is used just as much in unisex fragrances. The best test is on your own skin: with every bottle of 30 ml or more we include a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance.
