The same pear, wrapped in cashmere: Blue Talisman Extrait is the soft, warm evening side of Ex Nihilo’s bestseller.
Blue Talisman Extrait was released in 2025 in the Collection Quintessence, Ex Nihilo’s line of extraits. Like the original, it was created by perfumer Jordi Fernández, who, according to co-founder Benoît Verdier, worked on this denser, more complex version for eight months. Pear and bergamot open more roundly than in the Eau de Parfum, jasmine sambac and orange blossom add a white-floral shimmer, and sandalwood, vanilla and amberwood settle creamily and warmly on the skin.

Is Blue Talisman Extrait simply stronger than the Eau de Parfum?
No. The note pyramid has been rebuilt: jasmine sambac, sandalwood, vanilla and amberwood are new. This makes the Extrait smell softer and warmer, not just more intense.

Perfumer Jordi Fernández, who also composed the original Blue Talisman (2023).
When is the best time to wear Blue Talisman Extrait?
In the evening, on special occasions and in the cooler months, when the vanilla-sandalwood base can unfold its warmth.
