How does mandarin differ from orange and lemon in perfume?
Mandarin is sweeter and softer than lemon and more delicate than orange. A touch of methyl N-methylanthranilate gives it an almost floral tone that other citrus fruits lack.
What are green, yellow and red mandarin?
It is always the same fruit, just harvested at different ripeness. Green oil from early fruit is tart and fresh, red oil from ripe fruit sweet and round.
How long does mandarin last on the skin?
As a top note it shows mainly in the first minutes. Then the heart and base notes take over; with vanilla, musk or woods, a hint of the sunny freshness lingers longer. It is best to test on your own skin: with every bottle from 30 ml we include a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance.
