Fragrance note
Orange Blossom Perfumes
Orange blossom comes from the bitter orange tree and smells bright, honey-sweet and slightly soapy-fresh. The same flowers yield neroli oil by distillation and orange blossom absolute by extraction – two sides of a note that usually sits in the heart. Here you will find every perfume with orange blossom in its pyramid.

What is the difference between orange blossom and neroli?
Both come from the same flowers of the bitter orange tree. Neroli is steam-distilled and smells brighter, greener and more citrusy. Orange blossom absolute is obtained by solvent extraction and is fuller, more honeyed and more animalic.
What is orange flower water?
Orange flower water is the hydrosol left behind when neroli is distilled. It smells softer and less indolic than the absolute. It is also well known in the kitchen, for instance in pastries.
Is orange blossom only for women’s fragrances?
No. In classic colognes orange blossom feels fresh and unisex, and with woods or amber it can be bold. The best test is on your own skin: with every bottle of 30 ml or more we include a 2 ml sample of the same fragrance.
